Let me tell ya, if the 12 hour flight doesn't kill you, the jet lag sure will. If there's any silver lining to be found, it's that you won't find a better place to cool down and recharge your batteries than South Korea (Figuratively, it's very hot here).
Even as walking zombies, me and Jo Jo managed to have a blast walking around to see the sights around our temporary home. After a healthy amount of getting lost, we stumbled upon a starbucks to lift our spirits. One coffee Please! To be honest, I didn't know how much money I was forking over, so I just handed the barista a large bill and hoped for exact change. One funny quirk I've found so far is that if you make a to-go order here, they actually expect you to leave! I suppose the opposite seems a little strange in retrospect, but I guess those are the little things you take for granted when you grow up a certain way.
In South Korea, rest stops are a fun affair. they're like shopping malls, except they cut out all the boring parts.A small strip of stores surrounded by forest where you can grab a bite, a coffee, or even a souvenir.
Potato skins on a stick, just like ma used to make
Green tea kit kats? Where have you been all my life...
